WA & VIC Construction Site Safety Guide 2018/19 – Released

Safety is of the utmost importance when it comes to any workplace, but particularly on construction sites where there are higher risks of fatalities and injuries. Unfortunately in 2015, 33 workers were killed in the construction industry, but with some knowledge and awareness of safety within the work place this number has the potential to be reduced. To assist with this knowledge, Pro-Visual Publishing, in partnership with Master Builders Association Victoria and Western Australia, Australian Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) and the National Safety Council of Australia Foundation (NSCA) has released the latest edition of the both the WA and VIC Construction Site Safety Guide.
Each Guide focuses on a variety of key work health and safety issues including traffic management plans and aspects that should be considered when developing one, mobile plant safety and the safe operation of equipment, hydration tips whilst working on site and scaffolding safety, to name a few.
Once again, this year’s Guides feature Augmented Reality (AR), a digital interactive aspect. By simply downloading the free Pro-Vis AR app and scanning over any AR capable content, construction workers can access further information relating to work safety straight to their smart device.
