AGL’s $2 million program to help drought affected farmers

As an essential service provider, AGL understands the important role it plays in supporting communities experiencing hardship.

AGL’s Farmers Assist program, which launched in June 2019, provides a $2 million package that covers debt relief and subsidised solar energy systems to eligible farmers in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

Through the program, AGL offers eligible farmers who are AGL customers debt relief and the opportunity to register interest for independent and confidential financial advice from a community based financial counsellor.

The program also helps eligible farmers to reduce their energy costs by providing a discount on the upfront cost of an AGL-installed solar PV system*.

Visit agl.com.au/farmersassist to find out more.

*Discount only applies to solar PV systems between 10kW and 100kW in size. Terms and conditions apply.
