ATrack Debuts Solar-Powered Asset Tracker at CONEXPO

Global telematics brand, ATrack Technology, joined CONEXPO CON/AGG in Las Vegas, “the largest construction show in North America” and a leading indicator in international construction machinery. ATrack debuted its heavily anticipated new product, the AS700 solar-powered asset tracker and a series of networking products suitable for heavy machinery and construction vehicles. These products assist customers in connecting machinery and vehicles, visualize their status and improve overall operating efficiency, and achieve cloud-based intelligent management.

ATrack indicates that most heavy machinery used in construction or mining are either leased or purchased in installments. In the past, there was a lack of systematic management so manpower was required to find or record machinery locations and operators were frequently concerned with theft or temporary failures leading to high maintenance costs and affecting overall operations. Accordingly, customers are looking for intelligent solutions to attain one-stop management through a cloud platform.

AS700 Zero Lifetime Maintenance Unlimited Applications

Appearing for the first time, the AS700 solar-powered asset tracker integrates solar charging and tracker functions and is equipped with ATrack’s proprietary ultra-fast charging and high-efficiency power-conservation technology. The unit can provide a lifelong power supply without any maintenance and is suitable for long-term management of vital assets requiring high-frequency information transmission. In addition to real-time positioning, the AS700 can also be used in various application for operation monitoring. It can accurately monitor whether an object is moving by utilizing its built-in six-axis accelerometer and gyroscope or install the unit on heavy machinery to calculate its operations time. Employing Bluetooth, it can be equipped with a wireless sensors to monitor the temperature and humidity in containers during the entire product transit process and
provide an instant anomaly warning to prevent damage to transported goods caused by abnormal temperatures and humidity. It is also worth mentioning that the AS700 is specifically designed with IP69K and IP68 waterproof and dustproof construction. Even in extremely harsh environments, the AS700 can remain stable and operational for a long period of time. It is suitable for the management of important assets such as heavy machinery, engineering vehicles, containers, etc. in intricate environments such as mining areas and construction sites.

AS500 Innovative Technologies Delivered in One Package

The AS500 long standby asset tracker is powered by an internal battery, features an ultra low power design, and can operate independently for up to ten years under continuous daily use. Its construction is designed to be IP69K waterproof and dustproof and paired with a  -40 to 80°C wide temperature range technology, the AS500 can maintain long-term stable operation whether in severely hot or cold environments. As such, it is uniquely suited for assets such as containers and trailers. In addition, it can be equipped with a door sensor to monitor whether container doors are opened at inappropriate times or locations. The AS500 supports real-time positioning and geofencing functions to ensure that tracked machinery operation or asset locations are within normal parameters and is equipped with anomaly warnings to prevent assets moving out of operation zones or being stolen.

AK500 Fully Master Machinery Status

The AK500 is a multifunctional telematics gateway featuring LTE Cat. 4 high-speed wireless
mobile network with 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi hotspots, Bluetooth, driver behavior monitoring, and real-time positioning and supports multiple communications interfaces that can obtain engine data from various vehicles and heavy machinery including fuel level, mileage, engine speed, idle time, etc. The unit can assist customers with in-depth data analysis and early detection of potential problems for preventive maintenance. In addition, the AK500 provides numerous interfaces that can be connected to various sensors such as tire pressure monitors, ID card readers, etc. This product is the key for developing comprehensive applications and is suitable for various heavy machinery and vehicles that require diverse applications.

According to Grand View Research, the global mining equipment market is estimated at US$135 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach US$201.5 billion in 2030. The construction equipment market is estimated at US$119 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach US$162 billion in 2030. ATrack displayed a series of waterproof and dustproof trackers and smart AI cameras suitable for heavy machinery, vehicles, and assets at this year’s exhibition. These products combine the long-term accumulation of ATrack’s ODM customization and integration capabilities to show that ATrack is ready to step boldly into the construction and mining fields.
